  • We take most health insurance plans with the exception of Medicare and medical assistance plans. Most insurance plans have deductible and copays, which you may pay using cash, check, debit card, or credit card Discover™, VISA™, and MasterCard™. We also accept FSA and HSA cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo.

    CB Counseling is CURRENTLY located just off I-81 or 476 (turnpike), Clarks Summit exit. 102 North Abington Road, Clarks Green, PA. We are in Suite 107 in the Clarks Green office center.

  • Make sure to bring the court order granting you guardianship and identification to your first appointment. If you have shared legal and medical custody, there is a form that both parents will sign for consent if the children are under the age of 14.

  • We have several therapists in order to work with every issue. It’s important to know that if you don’t feel your therapist is a good fit, you should discuss this with your therapist and you can be scheduled with a different therapist.

  • Item descriptionWe currently accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Geisinger, Cigna, Multi-plan, UPMC, and United Healthcare/Optum. We currently cannot accept Medical Assistance plans or Medicare.

  • Generally, an appointment can be made within a week’s time or possibly sooner.

  • In addition to daytime appointments, CB Counseling LLC has counselors who accept evening appointments five days a week and have weekend appointments available also.

  • Generally, appointments are scheduled once a week for about an hour or a length of time determined by the client and therapist (or by the insurance) on an individual case-by-case basis. As progress is made, therapy sessions are extended to bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly. It is important to maintain bi-annual or annual sessions, similar to physical checkups one would have with their medical physician.
