CB Counseling, LLC is pleased to contract with Tiffany Meek, LPC.
I believe in a client-centered, strengths-based approach to treatment. I believe in approaching therapy from a holistic perspective, taking into account biological, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual components of each individual. One of my philosophies of life is that although circumstances cannot always be controlled, people can control their responses to those circumstances. Each person has infinite inherent value and the capacity to continually develop toward personal fulfillment. I emphasize the importance of personal choice and responsibility and build off of existing strengths in order to introduce new coping skills. Counseling strategies may include individual, family, or couple counseling.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marywood University located in Scranton, Pennsylvania from 2017. My current experience includes working with youth in a day treatment setting, in which individual, family, and group therapy was provided. I am experienced in the areas of: Relationships, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Stress, Anger Management, ADHD Emotional Dysregulation, Borderline Personality Disorder, Autism and Trauma and Abuse. I engage in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Collaborative Problem-Solving techniques.
