CB Counseling is pleased to contract with Santina Williams, LPC at our practice.
Hello! My name is Santina Williams, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience assisting individuals and families with a myriad of mental health matters. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies at The Pennsylvania State University and my Master of Science Degree in Community Counseling at The University of Scranton.
My passion for counseling has led me to gain expertise in everything from inpatient and outpatient drug and alcohol treatment, to assisting clients in home, school, and community settings. I am skilled at providing intensive individual, group, and family counseling and have practice working with individuals in crisis, as well as facilitating clinical assessments and treatment coordination for court-mandated clients.
I hold a profound interest in providing mental health services for first responders and medical professionals and look forward to using my skills to offer necessary mental health support in their personal and professional lives. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and am happy to offer it to those who are seeking to overcome trauma and emotional distress.
My approach to counseling is as diverse as are the individuals I serve. Each client brings different experiences to therapy, and therefore, I find it important that their sessions with me are tailored to their individual needs and goals. My ultimate objective is to offer a safe space and foundation for self-improvement and healing, which is why I find the relationship between myself and my clients to be of the utmost importance.
