CB Counseling is pleased to contract with Kristen Miller-Hahn, LCSW at our practice.

My name is Kristen Miller-Hahn and I was born and raised in Northeastern, PA. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Marywood University in 2012. During my time studying at Marywood University, I obtained field experience at the VA Medical Center serving veterans in the Substance Abuse Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program. Since graduation, I have had an opportunity to work in various settings including: inpatient hospitalization, outpatient, and school/community settings. I have experience working with individuals, groups, and families.

I am passionate about helping others on their personal journey toward self-improvement and wellness by empowering them to establish and achieve meaningful goals. I respect each client’s individuality and uniqueness, recognizing the value of one’s personal story, dreams, and potential. I have an eclectic approach and work collaboratively with my clients to foster a therapeutic relationship that is based on the validation of strengths and protective factors, support from family members and other professionals, and the provision of opportunities for growth and skill development.

My areas of interest and speciality include: Addiction, ADHD, Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety,  Assertiveness Training,  Depression, Grief and Loss, LGBTQIA+, Perinatal Mental Health, Self-Esteem, Social Skills Training, and Relationships. I am trained in EMDR.
