CB Counseling is pleased to contract with Courtney Matoushek, LCSW at our practice.
I am a licensed social worker in Pennsylvania. My education began at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, where I studied psychology and criminal justice. I received my B.A in psychology with a concentration in forensic psychology and a certificate in child welfare. I continued my education at Marywood University where I earned my Master of Social Work with a specialization in behavioral health in 2014, receiving my licensure shortly after.
My experience ranges from working with adolescents in residential and partial level treatment environments, adults in outpatient mental health and substance use treatment, and in the criminal justice system. I believe my treatment style is eclectic but always maintains a client – centered, strengths-based approach. My goal is to create a warm and open environment where you can feel comfortable discussing your goals and concerns. While my niche is in treating co-occurring disorders, I also have experience assisting clients with the following: substance use/recovery, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, and more.
