I am a licensed professional counselor. I have experience working with adults, children, and adolescents on a variety of issues to include: depression, trauma, mood disorders, substance abuse, self-esteem, bereavement, personality disorders, and interpersonal relationship difficulties. By using an eclectic therapeutic approach tailored to meet your unique needs, I provide treatment that is positively focused and encourages self-acceptance. I work to meet the client where they are in the moment.
My education began at East Stroudsburg University, where I achieved my B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Criminal Justice in 2007. I continued my education at Marywood University where I graduated in 2010 with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling, resulting in licensure in the state of PA. My professional experience includes working in partial hospitalization program with adults, crisis work in emergency rooms with all ages, and working in home and school settings with children/adolescents and their families. I am working on pursuing education and certification in EMDR.
